Located in Knoxville, Tennessee, Lakeshore Park has significant conservation, scenic, recreational and parkland resources in its hills, fields, forests, open spaces, wetlands and waterfronts.

Beaman Park Expansion

In August 2015, Nashville’s Beaman Park expanded by 568 acres on the edge of the Western Highland Rim through the vision of The Open Space Plan, the investment of our city and the generosity of the Gilbert family.

Shelby Farms Park

Shelby Farms Park, which lies in the heart of Shelby County in Memphis, contains 4,500 acres of green space and 6.5 miles of urban trail.  Protecting Shelby Farms Park was a multi-partner effort with Shelby County Agricenter International, The Hyde Foundation, The Plough Foundation, Shelby County Government and Shelby Farms Park Conservancy.

Nashville Open Space Plan

In 2011, The Land Trust for Tennessee and Office of the Mayor released the Nashville Open Space Plan – a progressive, long-term plan for protecting and creating open space throughout Davidson County.

Beaman to Bells Corridor

The Beaman Park to Bells Bend corridor project represents an unprecedented opportunity for Nashville and Davidson County to become a regional leader in rural conservation.

Adelicia Park

Adelicia Park was The Land Trust for Tennessee’s first truly urban property protected in Nashville under conservation easement in 2008. This small “pocket park” is adjacent to The Adelicia Condominium tower and is managed by the Adelicia Homeowners Association.
