Conservation Crew Volunteers

Lend a hand and help maintain trails and landscapes on protected properties, like The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm and regional parks and hiking trails. This volunteer opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy landscaping, working outside and leaving a place even better than they found it. Conservation Crew Volunteers are essential stewards of the land.

Glen Leven Farm Field Trip Teachers

Share your knowledge and passion for land conservation with students who visit The Land Trust’s historic Glen Leven Farm. This opportunity is best for individuals interested in teaching youth and adults about the environment, land conservation, history and more. Glen Leven Farm Field Trip Teachers lead the inspiring path forward for younger generations.

Monitoring Volunteers (Winter/Spring)

Serve as the eyes and ears of The Land Trust for Tennessee by visiting protected properties across the state. This opportunity is best for individuals who enjoy detail-oriented tasks, exploring new places in Tennessee, and getting the lay of the land. Monitoring Volunteers play an essential boots-on-the-ground role in helping us conserve protected spaces for the benefit of future generations.

Event Team

Lend your talents to elevate The Land Trust for Tennessee’s events, big and small. This opportunity is best for individuals with an all-hands-on-deck attitude and interest in assisting on-site for events. Event Team Volunteers are essential to the success of our public outreach.

General Support Team

Help with an assortment of important behind-the-scenes projects that make a big difference for our success. This opportunity is best for individuals who enjoy taking on administrative projects, such as stuffing envelopes for mailings.
