Director of Conservation Transactions
Emma Davidson, our Director of Conservation Transactions, started as a volunteer in 2015 but quickly realized she had found a perfect fit at The Land Trust and formally joined the team within a few months. At The Land Trust she uses her legal background to help the nonprofit accomplish a mission close to her heart. As the Director of Conservation Transactions, Emma oversees property transactions, coordinates project management for the conservation team, and assists with any other legal needs of the organization.
Emma grew up in New York City and graduated from Duke University, where she majored in psychology and minored in biology. At Duke she met her husband, Patrick, a southern boy who quickly convinced her of the amazing food, waters, and landscapes The South had to offer. Emma and Patrick spent six wonderful years in Colorado where she earned her law degree, but The South called them back in 2014 and they settled in Nashville.
Outside of work, Emma can be found chasing her toddler around town, walking the Warner Parks trails with her dogs, or enjoying a delicious meal at one of Nashville’s many renowned restaurants
