Adelicia Park was The Land Trust for Tennessee’s first truly urban property protected in Nashville under conservation easement in 2008. This small “pocket park” is adjacent to The Adelicia Condominium tower and is managed by the Adelicia Homeowners Association.
The park was modeled after Gramercy Park in New York, providing scenic open green space in an urban area. It was designed by Hawkins Partners, a local landscape architecture firm, and includes gardens and courtyards, a reflecting pool and a six-foot sculpture of Adelicia Hayes, a local cultural and business leader in Nashville during The Civil War-era.
Thanks to the conservation easement, it will forever remain a peaceful oasis in the center of Midtown Nashville.
